Focus and Scope
Journal of Makeup and Beauty (ISSN 2714 – 5433) journal of make-up and beauty is a scientific journal published by Padang State University in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Makeup Education Study Programs (PPTRI). The purpose of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to fundamental and applied research on skin, hair, bun, cosmetology, SPA herbal cosmetic product formulations, and material research, experimental research, technical devices for the field of cosmetology and education. It publishes reviews, original research papers, communications, case reports, letters and short notes in the field of cosmetic research.
General subject areas include:
1. Research on ingredients and materials related to herbal cosmetics
2. Therapeutic options for skin, hair and body care and SPA
3. Pure and applied research involved in skin, hair and body cosmetic
4. Regulatory and ethical issues in cosmetic research
5. Cosmetology

History
Journal of Cosmetology and Beauty is a scientific journal. This journal became active in August 2019 and submitted an E-ISSN. This journal already has E-ISSN 2714-5433, because it is still classified as a beginner journal for governance, the process of receiving article files and the review process is still manual and the activities of this journal still require development as an increase in the quality and quantity of cosmetology and beauty journals. make-up and beauty is published 3 times a year with a publication period of April, August and December for journals that have been published consisting of 5-6 journals in the first year and followed by 7-8 journals the following year and until now the last issue is 10 journals each publication.
In the third year, the beauty cosmetology journal is published using a new template with a new design adapted to the writing, font shape and order of writing. The 2022 issue uses English to improve the quality of makeup and beauty journals.
